Meghan L. Dowling is a writer, artist, and Boston-area native. She holds a doctorate in English/Creative Writing from the University of Denver, an M.A. from the University of Maine, and a B.A. from Brandeis University. She is currently in the process of finding a home for her first novel, A Catalogue of Small Pains, which tells the story of three generations of women and the secret cruelties of family life in 20th century America. She teaches writing and literature at Husson University, and is a member of the Norumbega Collective, whose mission is to promote the literary arts in the greater Bangor, Maine area.
